It is my pleasure to welcome you to Wisdom Spring Foundation Academy, an institution devoted to the provision and delivery of high quality international standard Christian early years and elementary /college education in Abuja, Nigeria. The first phase of this institution over 10 years has grown into the second phase which is the college education. The second phase of the Institution focuses on providing international standard Christian secondary education.

At Wisdom Spring Foundation Academy, it is our belief that early years and elementary education determine the success of child’s educational journey. These years of educational foundation are critical to a child’s attitude, interests and achievement. Therefore, it is important that the experience of the child at this crucial period of life be character and value based, rewarding and pleasurable.

Over the last three dacades, we have witnessed a marked deterioration in the quality of education available in Nigeria. Thus we hope that WSFA will restore the Parent’s confidence in quality of education provided for their ward.

This we hope to achieve by providing a friendly and caring learning environment in which everyone is valued and included. Children are happy to come to school, are well motivated and learners treat each other thoughtfully and with respect.

We also teach each child in the way that they can learn best. Each child is unique, and a well-rounded education must be taken into account in their wider experiences, personal motivation and innate learning styles. We equip our children, not only with an excellent academic grounding, but also with qualities of Christian character to see them through life beyond school

About Wisdom Spring Foundation Academy

We are delighted that you are interested in Wisdom Spring Foundation Academy.

The first phase of Wisdom Spring Foundation Academy is a co-educational pre-school and elementary Christian school designed to provide an exciting learning environment for children between the ages of 3 months – 11 years. We provide a broad-based education of international standard to prepare children for college. The school is located in Apo, a serene vicinity of Abuja.

The Pre School

The WSA Pre-School is called “The Infant School”. The Infant School consists of our age-groups – Crèche, Pre-Nursery, Nursery 1 and Nursery 2 with different play/learning rooms. Each room has a dedicated teacher who is supported by an assistant, this provides an excellent adult child ratio. The adults have motherly qualities, and

pupils are loved and exposed to language, music, numeracy and physical development activities. Learning through the senses is emphasized, and good language role models are provided. Infant school pupils have their own swings, play gym, sand and water trays, etc. This ensures the safety of the smaller children at school, and helps prevent playground accidents.

Age groups in WSF Infant School are;

1. Creche (3 months to 2 years)

2. Pre-Nursery (2 to 3 years)

3. Nursery 1 (3 to 4 years)

4. Nursery 2 (4 to 5 years)

The Elementary School

The Elementary School caters for children from ages 5 to 11 (Years 1 to 6) and focuses greatly on ensuring that pupils develop their full potential in all areas of learning.

To achieve this, we have designed a curriculum which taps into the depth of the British Curriculum, its methodology and delivery style and the wealth of the Nigerian Curriculum. This Curriculum provides learners with a whole range of experiences, activities and opportunities which will nurture these young minds into well-rounded and capable boys and girls with strong Christian values.

Each child is provided the opportunity to receive high quality education which not only caters for their diverse intellectual needs, but also guarantees that their emotional, social and spiritual needs are met.
